ok, this is going to be like looking for a needle in a haystack.... i've been in argentina for 6 months and have helped a friend with their 4 month old (when i arrived) dobermann, walking, playing, injections, bathing etc and i have fallen in love with the breed. what incredible creatures they are (the old saying dogs are better than people comes to mind....) my problem coming back to london is that i don't have a garden or the ability to confidently say i will be around to look after a dobe for 10 years or so - i don' thave kids or a family who could do this whilst i work. so, basically, i am looking to find anyone who is willing to share some of their time with their dobermann to let me visit (a visit a week max, probably less) in exchange for financial support for food, vaccinations etc. ideally it would be a kennel of dobes where you need help with walking / playing, but am willing to consider individuals also - it may be you need someone to share the time with the dog, as well as helping out a bit with the cost. i am a really laid back person and have no aspirations to take any time or control away from the owner, just find myself without the possibility of having a dog here in london and whilst i'm athletic and young enough, want to have a chance to experience dobermanns. i'm 35, physically fit and can provide references, passport details etc to boot. i don't expect any replies to this ad - it's a million to one, but i am totally genuine and committed if this can be done james
